Punta Espinuda is a natural rocky platform, about 60 meters long to 15 wide, which separates the beaches of Racó and Illa Roja, both in Begur. It is an excellent viewpoint to these beaches, the Medes Islands, the long golden stretch of coastline to l'Estartit and mountains of Montgrí. Along the coastal path goes round and it is a frequented by young people, who take advantage of the height to jump into the water.
